- Lower costReplacing a bearing is far cheaper than rewinding a burnt motor.
- Longer lifeWell-maintained motors and gearboxes last years longer.
What we check
- VoltageIs the motor getting the right supply?
- Winding resistance (ohm)Is the winding healthy, or starting to fail?
- Current (amp)Is the motor drawing normal current, or is it overloaded?
- Noise and bearingsIf a motor is noisy, we recommend replacing the bearings before they damage the motor.
- BrakesIf a brake has problems, we dismantle it, replace worn parts and reassemble it.
- Gearbox oilOil change, or oil flushing and refill.
- Inverter settingsWe check the parameters and correct them so drive and motor work properly together.
Plus any other checks your equipment needs. Tell us what's running and we'll advise.
How often should an industrial motor be serviced?
It depends on running hours, load and environment. Motors in hot, dusty or wet areas need more frequent checks. Ask us and we'll recommend a schedule for your equipment.
Can you maintain equipment you didn't install?
